PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfecting sheet offset printer scarcely causing a printing fault having a reduced machine-size at a fart printing speed by alternately connecting a plurality of front surface printing units to a plurality of rear surface printing units via impression cylinders for constituting the respective units in a horizontal direction. SOLUTION: Front surface printing units 5a to 5d and rear surface printing units 6a to 6d are connected by horizontally connecting impression cylinders 11a to 11d, 12a to 12d for constituting the respective units 5a, 6a in such a manner that axial centers of the cylinders are coupled substantially linearly. Accordingly, a sheet P is delivered from a transfer cylinder 4 to the cylinder 11a of the unit 5a, its surface is printed with a first color, then transferred to the cylinder 12a of the unit 6a, and printed on its rear surface with the first color. Thereafter, similarly, the sheet P is alternately printed on both the front and rear surfaces of the sheet P by the second to four units 5b to 5d and the second to fourth units 6b to 6d with the second to the fourth colors. |
