<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity information offering support system which can mitigate a customer's operation load and can perform smoothly a commodity information offering service which gives commodity explanation by a conversational style in the date and time which a customer demands about a commodity which the customer specifies. <P>SOLUTION: An information providing system control section 111 assigns a person in charge about the commodity specified by the commodity explanation request, based on an information of an analysis processing result of an e-mail message analysis functional part 114, and realizes a management function for managing in the contact date and time, a contact address, and a contact date and time specified by the commodity explanation request and an assigned person, if it receives the commodity explanation request which specifies the commodity, the contact address, and the contact time, from a mobile phone 20 with which an e-mail transmitter-receiver function portion 113 serves as a communication terminal. Furthermore, the person in charge performs a prior confirmation about the explanation of the commodity at the specified contact time.
