PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation of attachment/detachment of a cartridge to a device body, neither suffuring any apprehension about the damage to a driving force transmitting member nor providing any especially complicated mechanism while satisfying the positioning function of the cartridge with respect to the device body. SOLUTION: A cartridge 1 inserted and placed on a temporary set position K by a forcedly moving and attaching means 7 is forcedly moved from the position K to a normal position S based on a discriminating signal from an attaching mode discriminating means 6 expressing attaching mode operation. The cartridge 1 attached to the position S by a forcedly moving and detaching means 13 is forcedly moved from the position S to the position K based on the discriminating signal from a detaching mode discriminating means 12 expressing detaching mode operation. |
