<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type hot water supply device capable of surely preventing freezing and breakage of a hot water supply-heat exchanger and water piping. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump type hot water supply device comprises a heat pump unit 2 constituted by connecting a compressor 7, the hot water supply-heat exchanger 4, an expansion valve 5 and an evaporator 6 by refrigerant pipes 20, a hot water storage tank 3 for storing the water heated by the hot water supply-heat exchanger 4, and an antifreeze valve 11 disposed in a hot water supply pipe 10 connecting the heat pump unit 2 and the hot water storage tank 3 and opened and closed on the basis of a temperature. The antifreeze valve 11 is opened to discharge the water in the hot water supply pipe 10 to the external when the temperature of the water in the hot water supply pipe 10 is lowered. As the antifreeze valve 11 is also opened to discharge the water in the hot water supply pipe 10 when the water in the hot water supply pipe 10 is lowered in electric power failure, the water is continuously supplied to the hot water supply-heat exchanger 4 and the hot water supply pipe 10 from the hot water storage tank 3 and water service, thus the freezing can be surely prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
