<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network management system which supports abnormality detection of a primary manager, by comparing the number of connections to a network with the maximum and minimum numbers and automatically displaying and notifying the comparison result in network management, and can take countermeasures directly or indirectly by conferring with a high-ranking manager. <P>SOLUTION: In a network NW, consisting of a plurality of routers R, log servers LS and network servers NS, the network comprises number of connections log information RL managed by a router group R; a means 1 for creating a network total number of connections log UL by collecting the RL for each time band T; a means 2 for jdetermining the abnormality of the number of network connections from the UL; a conference means 3 for coping with abnormality in a manager group MG, when it is determined that the number of connections N is abnormal by the determining means 2; and a means 4 for performing the processing based on the conference means 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
