Plant for drying wet bulk material - uses thermic method in several stages accompanied by use of centrifuge and crushing tools

In a first stage as drying unit a centrifuge shaft drier (1) is installed, behind which is a second stage a further such drier (2) is incorporated. Before each centrifuge shaft drier devices (15,16,18) are provided for sluicing in and beyond each drier for sluicing out purposes. A mechanical conveyor (23) connects the first and second stages. At least one heat source (26) is available with cut-off slides (27,28) provided in the drying gas feed conduits (31) together with throttle valves (35,36). The first drying stage exhaust gas-wise is connected to a centrifugal separator (42) and the second drying stage exhaust gas-wise is connected to a filter unit via pipe conduits (41,43). A further pipe conduit (50) feeds fine drying material from the first stage to the sluicing in device (16) of the second drying stage. USE/ADVANTAGE - The plant can dry fine bulk material mixed with large pieces and/or agglomerates and frozen material with high commencement moisture content.
