The invention concerns an apparatus for use in removing fibrous substance from dried black tea leaves. The tapered feed hopper separates the balls used in the dryer from tea leaves which are distributed on a bed plate. PVC rollers arranged above the plate move at slow speed to pick up the fibrous substances. Each of said rollers is adjusted by a "single point adjustment arm" using the pressure of a spring loaded plate to push the rollers against the plate. The undercarriage of the apparatus is fully cushioned and mounted on rubber.
