PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable epoxy resin composition for an optical material capable of forming a cured product excellent in heat resistance, light resistance, shock resistance and reflow resistance.SOLUTION: A curable epoxy resin composition for an optical material contains an alicyclic epoxy compound (A), a monoallyl diglycidyl isocyanurate compound (B), and a siloxane derivative (C) having two or more epoxy groups in the molecule. The siloxane derivative (C) is a siloxane derivative obtained by hydrolysis and condensation of an epoxy group-containing trialkoxysilane compound in the presence of a basic catalyst and in the presence of silanol-terminated silicone oil.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
