<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-generating agent which can shorten an initial heat- generating time and elongate a heat generation duration. SOLUTION: This heat-generating agent contains metal powder whose surface is coated with an agent having a melting point of 40 to l00 deg.C and metal powder not coated with the agent. The metal powder is oxidized in the presence of oxygen and water to generate heat, and the surface of the metal powder is coated with the agent having a melting point of 40 to 100 deg.C. The metal powder includes iron powder but is especially not limited.</p> |
