PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flicker occurrence by a kickback voltage. SOLUTION: In a gate driver chip 210 of a liquid crystal display device, a shift register 212 sequentially shifts and outputs a high level data value in response to a carry signal. A level shifter 214 level-shifts and outputs an externally provided first voltage based on the high level data value. An output buffer 216 buffers the level-shifted first voltage and outputs the buffered level-shifted first voltage to a delay part 218. The delay part delays the buffered first voltage and outputs the delayed first voltage to a gate line. Thus, failure of display characteristics caused by the kickback voltage is eliminated.
