A method for operating a multifunctional device is provided to enable a user to connect and use the multifunctional device to be connected to a computer without interrupting operation by temporarily provision interrupt. A multifunctional device transmits a device ID to the computer(20). The computer executes a device driver corresponding to the device by transmitting a controlling module suitable for making a function list to the device(22). The computer obtains the function list of the device(26). The device drivers related to the listed functions are triggered in the computer by the device driver(28). Test streams between various functions of the device and the driver corresponding to the functions are managed by the device driver(30).
