<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function which can run in a lock step in an integrated micro processor. <P>SOLUTION: As a method of providing high integrity processing, in a high integrity processing system, each lane 12 and 14 comprises application processors 20, 40, the application processors comprise at least two redundant processing lanes running the same application software in a non-lock step configuration, and the application processors output transaction requiring access to an addressable space.
