PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a torsion beam type suspension capable of preventing abnormal sound from a torsion beam with a simple and easy configuration. SOLUTION: The torsion beam type suspension 1 is equipped with a pair of trailing arms 10 each of which has one end supported by a vehicle body and the other end provided with a wheel supporting part 16, and a torsion beam 2 with both end parts respectively connected to the trailing arms 10 and arranged in the width direction of the vehicle body. The torsion beam 2 is composed of a pipe member P welded in the axial direction to form a generally cylindrical cross section and having projection-like weld flash 22a which is formed during welding and remains on an inner wall side of a welding part 22. The welding part 22 of the pipe member P is positioned on an outside top part 24a, an axial direction intermediate part is crushed from the radial direction and formed in a generally V-shaped cross section, and the weld flash 22a of the welding part 22 is bit by the facing inner wall surface to fix the outside top part 24a and an inside top part 24b.
