PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a partial contact of friction plates on both sides in a normal closed type linear brake.SOLUTION: On both sides of a housing 20 striding over a linear guide 10, friction plates 30, 30 are rotatably mounted so as to sandwich the linear guide 10 from both sides. The friction plates 30, 30 on both sides are connected by a plate spring 40 on a housing 20 side. By a restoring force of the curved plate spring 40, the friction plates 30, 30 on both sides are rotated and energized to a guide restricting direction. By an actuator 50 arranged between the housing 20 and the plate spring 40, the plate spring 40 is further curved into a counter-energization direction, and the friction plates 30, 30 on both sides are forcibly rotated in a guide releasing direction. By pivotally supporting both friction plates 30, 30 on both sides, and by making shaft holes 31, 31 in which support shafts 23, 23 are inserted long hole which are long to the lateral side, the friction plates 30, 30 on both sides are freely movable being synchronized to the lateral side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
