These hollow shape materials 10, 20 are arranged side by side on a bed 240, protruding parts 16, 26 of facing end parts 12b, 22b of each face plate 12, 22 are subjected to friction agitation joining from above. Next, bulged parts 35, 35 of a joint material 30 are fitted into the recessed part arranged on the protruding parts 15, 25 of the end parts of the face plates 11, 21, friction agitation joining thereof is performed from above. The load in joining is supported by the ribs 13A, 13B, 23A, 23B, etc. By this method, the structural body of truss structure as a whole is formed.
