The device (1) for the single-line inserting of vessels, and especially bottles, in containers, and especially cases, has several gripper groups for different sorts of bottle. A dedicated case guide (11a-11d) is provided for each sort of bottle (Fa-Fd), with the guides running parallel to one another. The case guides are installed at right angles to a cross member supporting the gripper groups and movable back and forth on a U-form movement track. The case guides have a common feeder (16) and a common deliverer (14), each installed at right angles to the case guides.
