摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image conversion panel having reduced thickness and a stereoscopic image display device having the same. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display panel is provided with a first lens substrate, a second lens substrate, a stereoscopic image lens part and a lens liquid crystal layer. The first lens substrate and the second lens substrate are arranged to face each other. The stereoscopic image lens part is arranged between the first lens substrate and the second lens substrate and contains a main lens of a concave shape and a sublens at least one of which is arranged at each of both side parts of the main lens and which has a concave shape. The lens liquid crystal layer is housed in the main lens and the sublens, is arranged between the first lens substrate and the second lens substrate, consists of liquid crystal molecules having anisotropic refractive indexes and refracts light polarized in a predetermined direction at a boundary face with the stereoscopic image lens part to change a planar image to a stereoscopic image. In such a manner, the stereoscopic image lens part is constituted of the main lens and the sublens of thinner thickness, thereby thickness of the stereoscopic image panel can be decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
