<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet excellent in bulky feeling, opacity, image quality, reading quality, ink absorbency, and water resistant property of images. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording sheet constituted by adhering a coating material which contains a cationic compound onto a base paper, by keeping the cationic compound adhered by 2.0 to 5.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>in solid coating quantity onto both faces, and by adjusting a Stoeckigt sizing degree based on JIS P8122 to 20 to 50 sec, the base paper used to the inkjet recording paper contains at least 5% and at most 15% of low-density fillers with an apparent specific gravity of at most 0.4 shown at least by JIS Z8807 based on the mass of the paper and the density of the base paper at least 0.55 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and at most 0.75 g/cm<SP>3</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
