PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device capable of melting an excess water repellent film formed on an ink discharge surface after manufacturing of a recording head.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device 1 includes a recording head 10, a cap member 297, and a sponge 295. The recording head 10 discharges an ink. The cap member 297 covers an ink discharge surface 17 of the recording head 10. The sponge 295 is disposed on the cap member 297. The sponge 295 is impregnated with a liquid containing a fluorine-based solvent. The ink discharge surface 17 has a water-repellent film 19. The sponge 295 is pressed against the water repellent film 19 of the ink discharge surface 17 as the cap member 297 moves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
