PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously execute the carrying-in and -out work of panels and the work of distributing panels to a plurality of positions by providing two rising and falling clamp mechanisms for nipping the side surfaces of a panel and a suspended type truck for suspending these mechanisms, and providing the two clamp mechanisms movable in parallel. SOLUTION: A clamp mechanism 1-2 is lowered to catch a non-worked panel 1, and a rod cylinder 6 is extended while a suspended truck 3-1 is moved on a rail 2, whereby the panel is placed on a carrying-in conveyor 51. The panel is stored in the end part 54 of a carrying-out conveyor line 53. Clamp mechanisms 1-1, 1-2 are then lowered, and the next non-worked panel is held by the clamp mechanism 1-2 and carried to the conveyor 51. At this time, the worked panel stored in a line end part 43 is also caught. An inspector determines the quality of the worked panel and operates the clamp mechanisms 1-1, 1-2 on the basis of this judgment to transfer the panel to an acceptable panel keeping place 20 or an unacceptable panel keeping place 30.
