PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in the generation of noise and lowering of durability by a method, wherein discharge pulsation of a refrigerant gas discharged from a compression chamber hardly occurs. SOLUTION: A rotary compressor comprises a motor 11, and a rotary compression mechanism 12 conveying fluid by increasing and decreasing the volume of a compression chamber P in a process of one full turn of an eccentric rotor 20 coupled directly to a drive shaft 18 of the motor 11 for rotational drive. A control part 13 is provided to control the drive of the motor 11, so that in a process of a single turn of the eccentric rotor 20, its rotation speed is changed.
