<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin wax as a phase change material (PCM) for being used as a latent heat store. <P>SOLUTION: The latent heat store is based on an organic material containing ≥1 kinds of polyolefin wax having 80-160°C melting point and having been prepared by a metallocene-catalyzed reaction. The polyolefin wax preferably exists as a powder, a granule or a block and is a homopolymer of ethylene or propylene, a copolymer of ethylene with propylene or a copolymer of ethylene with propylene and ≥1 kinds of 1-olefins.
