PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the attack against an information apparatus from a communication device or via a communication device, in a communication system having an information apparatus, a communication device connected with the information apparatus in after market, a server for authenticating the communication device, and communication means between the communication device and the server.SOLUTION: A communication device includes a first interface for performing first communication with a server, a second interface for performing second communication with an information apparatus, and an information processing unit performing information processing including communication protocol processing incident to the first and second communications. The information processing unit in the communication device delivers the signature of the communication device itself from the first interface to the server, and receives a driver, to be sent after authenticating the communication device based on the signature received by the server, via the first interface before being delivered from the second interface to the information apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
