PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing frequency of occurrence of erroneous guidance.SOLUTION: The approach determination system includes: shape information acquisition means for acquiring a piece of shape information which represents a shape of a speed limited area; corner angle acquisition means for acquiring an angle including a corner of the speed limited area closest to the vehicle positioned in front of the vehicle based on the shape information; steering angle acquisition means for acquiring steering angle of the vehicle; and approach determination means that determines whether or not the vehicle enters the speed limited area based on the present position of the vehicle and the shape information. The approach determination means determines that the vehicle is not positioned in the speed limited area based on the angle including the corner and the steering angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
