PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a change in a degree of glossiness when the toner amount of a toner image fixed to a recording medium changes.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus forms a test pattern on an intermediate transfer belt (step S11). The image forming apparatus measures the concentration of the test pattern (step S12), and corrects a set temperature (temperature to be used for the control of a heater which heats a toner image) in accordance with a difference between the concentration of the test pattern and reference concentration, that is, a difference between the toner amount of the test pattern and a reference toner amount on the basis of the measured concentration (step S13). The toner amount with which a degree of glossiness of the toner image of metal toner fixed to a recording medium becomes maximum is determined as the reference toner amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
