PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having a very small heat discolora tion in molding and processing by adding a specified metal organophosphate into an antibacterial resin composed of a synthetic resin except vinyl chloride- based resins and of a silver-based antibacterial agent. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by adding 0.001-5.0 pts.wt. metal organophosphate of formula I or II (R1 to R3 are each a 1-22C alkyl, a 2-22C hydroxyalkyl, a 2-22C alkenyl, a 6-18C aryl or cyclohexyl; M is an alkali metal, Zn or Al; x is 0 when M is an alkali metal or Zn, being 1 when M is Al) into an antibacterial resin comprising 100 pts.wt. synthetic resin except vinyl chloride- based resins and preferably styrene-based resin and 0.01-5.0 pt.wt. silver-based antibacterial agent preferably zirconium phosphate.
