PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch information transmitting device capable of suppressing the occurrence of misoperation for searching the desired switch. SOLUTION: When an infrared beam emitted by an infrared light emitting diode B1 is reflected by one finger of a driver and received by an infrared phototransistor C1, current flows to a resistance element 50 from the phototransistor C1 and a voltage is generated in the resistance element 50. An A-D converter circuit 51 converts this voltage into digital signal and outputs to a microcomputer. The microcomputer judges whether the driver's finger is positioned near a switch A1 in conformity to the given digital signal and causes a voice generating device to emit voice accordingly. Therefore, the driver can specify the switch which he is going to push touchlessly.
