PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor in which the harmonic components of magnetic excitation force and cogging torque can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the DC motor, a plurality of magnets 5 secured by each predetermined angle, to the inner circumferential surface of a tubular yoke housing, having a constant thickness in the radial direction, is a rectangular parallelepiped, when viewed from the radial direction, having axial length elongated from a predetermined region 27, in the circumferential center toward the opposite ends in the circumferential direction and provided with a portion 26 cut so as to be isolated from the core.
