PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive film having excellent reworkability, free from foaming and floating/peeling troubles at the adhesive interface and light-leakage phenomenon even by the exposure to a high-temperature or high-temperature and humidity environment after pasting to an adherend, and generating no cracks at the peripheral part of an optical film and provide an adhesive composition capable of forming the adhesive film. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition contains (C) a copolymer defined below and having hydroxyl group and/or carboxyl group and a glass transition temperature of -60 to 0°C and (D) an ethyleneimine hardener. The copolymer C contains (A) a high molecular weight copolymer composed of (a) an alkyl methacrylate free from substituent, (b) an alkyl acrylate free from substituent and (c) other monomer and having a specific weight-average molecular weight and glass transition temperature and (B) a low molecular weight copolymer at an (A)/(B) ratio of 65/35 to 85/15 in terms of the areal ratio in GPC measurement.
