摘要 <p>A braking device for a vehicle, in which an input piston (13) and a pressurizing piston (14) are movably supported in a cylinder (12) to partition the cylinder (12) into a first pressure chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;1&lt;/SUB&gt;), a second pressure chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;2&lt;/SUB&gt;), and a third pressure chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;3&lt;/SUB&gt;) and in which the second pressure chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;2&lt;/SUB&gt;) and the third pressure chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;3&lt;/SUB&gt;) are communicated with each other by a communication path (28). An ECU (81) causes a control hydraulic pressure, regulated by a first and second linear valves (38, 44), to act from the third pressure chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;3&lt;/SUB&gt;) to the second pressure chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;2&lt;/SUB&gt;), and this assist the pressurizing piston (14) so that braking hydraulic pressure can be outputted from the first pressure chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;1&lt;/SUB&gt;). A reaction chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;4&lt;/SUB&gt;), whose volume decreases as the input cylinder (13) advances, is provided in the cylinder (11). A reaction force application mechanism (51) is provided in the input piston (13), and the reaction force application mechanism (51) can apply operational reaction force to a brake pedal (17) via the input piston (13) by becoming deformed corresponding to a reduction in the volume of the reaction chamber (R&lt;SUB&gt;4&lt;/SUB&gt;).</p>
