PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device capable of suppressing the leakage of lubricant, and maintaining satisfactory traveling performance.SOLUTION: A fixation device comprises: a fixation belt 110; a nip plate 130 extending in a direction which is orthogonal to the sliding direction of the fixation belt 110; and a pair of regulation members 400 disposed at both sides in the longitudinal direction of the nip plate 130 with respect to the fixation belt 110, each of the regulation members 400 having a regulation surface 410 for regulating the movement in the longitudinal direction of the fixation belt 110. The nip plate 130 has a holding surface 136 disposed with a clearance between itself and the fixation belt 110, the holding surface 136 extending from one end to the other end in the longitudinal direction of the nip plate 130 at a position adjacent to a guide surface. The holding surface 136 holds lubricant between itself and the fixation belt 110. Furthermore, the fixation device includes a pair of walls 134 at both end sides in the longitudinal direction of the holding surface 136 for regulating the movement of the lubricant, and the pair of walls 134 are disposed at positions outside the regulation surfaces 410 in the longitudinal direction. |
