PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power cable that has excellent environmental characteristics and can be used as a high-voltage underground power transmission line.SOLUTION: A power cable 1 used as a high-voltage underground power transmission line comprises a conductive part 10, an insulating layer 20 that mainly comprises a cross-linked polyethylene and covers an outer periphery of the conductive part, and a cover layer 30 that mainly comprises a polyvinyl chloride and covers an outer periphery of the insulating layer. The cover layer is made of a non-lead material, and a hydrotalcite-based stabilizer, a non-lead-based lubricant, a plasticizer, a filler, and a flame retardant are mixed so as to mutually complement the outer scratch resistance, flame retardancy, and cold resistance of the cover layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
