PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rooftop greening system capable of maintaining a sufficient cooling effect without requiring a large amount of time and effort for installation or frequent maintenance and cleaning work.SOLUTION: A rooftop greening system 1 is configured from a plant support frame 2, a leaf and stem holding net 3, a tuberous root housing 4, and liana 5. The plant support frame 2 is installed in the vicinity of an outdoor unit 53 of an air conditioner which is installed in an installation space 52 of a roof 51, the leaf and stem holding net 3 is stretched over the upper end parts of the plant support frame 2, and the tuberous root housing 4 into which soil S and tuberous roots 5a of the liana 5 have been placed is hung from the upper end parts of the plant support frame 2. A water supply tank 6 and a fertilizer tank 7 are provided for supplying the tuberous root housing 4 with water W from the water supply tank 6 through a feed pipe 8 and nutritious liquid F from the fertilizer tank 7 through a fertilizer pipe 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
