PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handling speed by preventing overlap of fabrics to be continuously fed in the work for inspecting fabric with video. SOLUTION: As a device for inspecting a surface and a back surface of fabric with video, a first inspection unit 18 for inspecting the surface of the fabric carried on a first conveyor 21 with video and a second inspection unit for inspecting the back surface of the fabric at a position downstream of a second conveyor 23 are arranged in the fabric conveying direction. A clearance 29 for guiding the fabric downward is provided in the boundary between an outlet part of the first conveyor and an inlet part of the second conveyor. A normal and reverse conveyor 35 is provided to normally rotate to receive the fabric guided downward and to reversely rotate to transfer the received fabric to an adjacent receiver part. A means 34 for feeding a rear end of the fabric, which is guided downward, from the outlet part of the first conveyor to the inlet part of the second conveyor is provided in the boundary between the first and the second conveyors. A separating means 28 for guiding a following fabric downward through the clearance at the same time when feeding a preceding fabric of a receiver part side from a rear end thereof to the second conveyor is provided in the boundary between the first and the second conveyors.
