PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize with an LED light sources, a lighting system for an image scanner used as a light source for image scanner scanning.SOLUTION: The lighting system is provided with a strip-shaped metal illumination board 10 with a plurality of LED light sources L linearly arranged and mounted on its top surface at intervals, and a light cover 1 having translucency, incorporating the illumination board and with a light diffusion process applied. The illumination board is pinched between a bottom part 2 of the light cover and locking flanges 3, 3 set in protrusion on right and left inner walls above the bottom part 2, and also, a constant gap is set between top surfaces of the mounted LED light sources and a ceiling surface of the light cover. |
