The invention relates to a composition for use for the permanent hydrophilic finishing of textile fibres and thus produced textile products, said composition comprising a hydrophilically modified or amphoteric polydimethylsiloxane in a proportion of 3 - 30 wt.%; a quaternary ammonium compound in a proportion of 25 - 85 wt.%, said quaternary ammonium compound has a melting point of at least 55°C; a fatty alcohol having a melting point of at least 60 °C in a proportion of 0 - 25 wt.%; a non-ionic consistency regulator in a proportion of 0 - 40 wt.%, and at least one dispersing agent in a proportion of 0 - 10 wt.%. Said composition is preferably in the from of granulates and has a melting point of at least 45 °C.
