PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system having a simple configuration and capable of easily performing dimming control or dimming/toning control.SOLUTION: A lighting system 1 comprises: a lighting controller 2 connected to an external power supply 5 for supplying voltage through power lines 4a, 4b; and a lighting apparatus 3 connected to the power lines 4a, 4b through the lighting controller 2. The lighting controller 2 controls conduction of the voltage supplied from the external power supply 5, so as to change part of a waveform of the voltage supplied from the external power supply 5. The lighting apparatus 3 comprises a lighting power supply unit 31 and a signal generation unit 32. The lighting power supply unit 31 supplies power to a lighting load 340 on the basis of voltage transmitted from the lighting controller 2. The signal generation unit 32 generates a control signal for controlling operation of the lighting power supply unit 31, on the basis of the voltage transmitted from the lighting controller 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
