PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing program capable of displaying the icon of a driver that a user wants to cause to execute processing via USB connection even when a driver having the same PnP(hardware of connected equipment) ID has been already installed.SOLUTION: An information processing program causes a computer to execute: a situation determination step S110 for determining whether or not an installation object driver having a PnPID has been already installed; a detection step S118 for, when determining that the installation object driver having the PnPID has been already installed, detecting whether or not the icon of connection equipment is created by the installation object driver; and an installation step S122 for, when detecting that the icon of the connection equipment is not created by the installation object driver, replacing the already installed driver that the icon of the other connection equipment uses with the installation object driver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
