PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of component parts of a mechanism for conveying pressed sheets when the mechanism is configured to be included in a unit for pressing a folded portion of sheets.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a press roll unit 37 including a first press roll 37A facing a folded portion of a sheet bundle B and pressing the folded portion and a second press roll 37B located in the opposite side of the first press roll 37A across the folded portion and pressing the folded portion; a sheet placement unit provided below the press roll unit 37 for placement of the sheet bundle B thereon; and moving means for moving the position of at least one of the first press roll 37A and second press roll 37B of the press roll unit 37 to cause the sheet bundle B of which folded portion has been pressed by the press roll unit 37 to move by its own weight on the sheet placement unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
