An apparatus and a method for treating high-concentration organic wastewater are provided to reduce unpleasant odor and solid components, by treating food wastewater and livestock wastewater through biological method using special microorganisms. A microorganism supply unit(1) and an oxidant supply unit(2) are connected to an equalizing bath(3) into which high-concentration organic wastewater is inputted. A first thermophilic aerobic digestion bath(4) decomposes the organic wastewater, oil, and volatile organic compound inputted from the equalizing bath. A second thermophilic aerobic digestion bath(5) retreats solid type oil component and volatile organic compound untreated by the first thermophilic aerobic digestion bath. A mesophilic aerobic digestion bath(6) treats BOD type compound, COD type compound, nitrogen, and phosphorous untreated by the second high-temperature aerobic digestion bath. An enrichment bath(7) enriches untreated water passed by the mesophilic aerobic digestion bath through natural precipitation. An activated sludge biological reactor(8) retreats BOD type compound, COD type compound, nitrogen, and phosphorous untreated contained in upper water of the enrichment bath. A treatment water bath(9) prevents anaerobic transformation of the organic wastewater passed by the activated sludge biological reactor. A final filter membrane bath(10) filters off suspended substance and bacteria contained in the organic wastewater passed by the treatment water bath. Further, the first thermophilic aerobic digestion bath and the second thermophilic aerobic digestion bath are connected with a bio-filter for deodorization. |
