PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shearing-type crushing device which reduces the causes of damage to a crushing mechanism 5, which shreds and crushes a material 1 to be crushed, to increase a quantity of crushing processing. SOLUTION: The shearing-type crushing device is provided with; a crushing mechanism 5 which shreds and crushes a material 1 to be crushed by cooperating a plurality of rotary cutters 12 and 19 having a plurality of rotary blades 16 and 23, the rotary cutters being arranged in parallel in the axis direction of rotary shafts 15 and 22; and a transmission mechanism 6 which supplementally supplies the crushing mechanism with the material 1 to be crushed. The transmission mechanism 6 is provided with a screw 31 which is horizontally arranged adjacent to the rotary cutter 19 in parallel to the rotary shaft 22 of the rotary cutter 19; and a control device 38 which controls an amount of the material 1 to be crushed, which is fed to the crushing mechanism 5, by controlling the screw. In addition, the rotary cutter 19, which is on the transmission mechanism side between the rotary cutters 12 and 19 arranged in parallel to each other, is made smaller than another rotary cutter 12 to reduce the causes of damages to the crushing mechanism 5.
