PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize management device and method which can realize fair premium exchange within a game parlor. SOLUTION: In the premium management device 10, the ratio of the offer amount of a premium sold by measure to the number of exchange balls required for exchange for the offer amount is memorized as an exchange rate, when the offer amount of the premium of sale by measure is designated, the number of exchange balls corresponding to the offer amount is computed using the exchange rate, moreover, when the number of exchange balls exchanged for the premium of sale by measure is designated, the offer amount corresponding to the number of exchange balls is computed using the exchange rate, exchange management is performed by subtracting the number of exchange balls computed or designated from the number of stored balls and/or the number of points, "an exchange for a premium sold by measure", which performs premium exchange by dynamically changing the number of exchange balls by the offer amount in even the same premium, is enabled by performing offer control so as to offer the premium sold by measure of an offer amount computed or designated, and even if it is necessary to perform a premium exchange for any number of exchange balls at the time of the premium exchange, it is possible to certainly carry out the premium exchange for the number of exchange balls.
