PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure the diffusion distribution of a measured object.SOLUTION: An inspection unit 10 for permeable members comprises: a holey flat plate 100 disposed on one surface of a permeable member and having a plurality of open holes 110 provided at positions that correspond to the intersections of virtual lines in a square lattice shape at an interval of a length La; a semi-closed vessel 200 disposed on a surface of the holey flat plate opposite to a surface contacting the permeable member, having a hollow space 210, and including apertures 220 formed in the hollow space in the direction facing the open holes, a flange 230 formed on an outer edge of the apertures, and a gas-supply hole 240 through which gas is supplied to the hollow space; gas-supply parts 300 to 320 for supplying the gas to the hollow space; and a gas sensor 250 disposed in the hollow space. The aperture of the semi-closed vessel has a round shape having a radius equal to an integer multiple of a length La, while the open holes are line-symmetric with respect to symmetric axes composed of a line passing through the center of the open holes and parallel to the virtual lines and of a line crossing the virtual lines at an angle of 45 degrees.
