PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll-like medium supplying device which enables a roll-like medium to be easily set on the roll-like medium supplying device while maintaining printing quality.SOLUTION: The medium supplying device, which comprises an attachable/detachable roll-like medium and supplies a medium from the roll-like medium to a deep side in an attachment/detachment direction of the roll-like medium, has a plurality of guide members which guide the roll-like medium when attaching the roll-like medium thereto. The guide members comprise: at least one contact member which contacts at least partially only a lower and outer peripheral face of the roll-like medium; and at least one auxiliary member which does not contact the outer peripheral face of the roll-like medium. The contact member and the auxiliary member are connected by the same turning shaft in the base parts of the members. The auxiliary member is shorter in a supplying direction of the medium than the contact member, and is arranged in parallel to the contact member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
