PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal seal for performing a seal between two plain faces and for exhibiting a sufficient sealing performance stably even with an extremely small cross-sectional area.SOLUTION: A metal seal is a curved recess at right and left side edges 11 and 11, and has an entire lateral cross-sectional shape integrally comprising: an upper half with a transverse sectional shape of a table mountain with a central trough part having a semicircular indent 13 in the central portion of upper edges 12; and a lower half 20 vertically symmetric to an upper half 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
