PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for culturing a microorganism in which a microorganism such as microalgae is continuously proliferated on the surface of a carrier where a culture solution is naturally flowing down and the microorganism is continuously recovered in the culture solution which naturally flows down.SOLUTION: A microorganism culture system includes: a carrier arranged in a gas phase to stick a microorganism; an dropped liquid tank for storing a culture solution containing the microorganism flowing out from the carrier; and a culture solution supply part for continuously supplying the culture solution from above the carrier.
