PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a system comprising a control server and a control device connected with the control server via a global network to cope with a situation in which the control device cannot properly communicate with the control server.SOLUTION: A POS terminal 10 in an account system 1 comprises a client function unit 501 that transmits authentication information to a control server 15 to request authentication, obtains and stores an access code generated by the control server 15 in response to a success of authentication, and if it can properly communicate with the control server 15, it communicates with the control server 15 as a client of the control server 15 on the basis of the stored access code, and performs processing with the control server 15, and if it cannot properly communicate with the control server 15, it communicates with a server function unit 502 as a client of the server function unit 502 on the basis of the stored access code, and performs processing with the server function unit 502.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
