PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyester for toner containing wax which is dispersed with an approximate particle size and having excellent fixing property and durability, and to provide toner containing the polyester. SOLUTION: The polyester for toner is prepared by dispersing wax in polyester. The polyester is obtained by using an alcohol component containing≥90 mol% of an alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A expressed by formula (I) as the source monomer. In formula (I), R is a 2-3C alkylene group, x and y represent positive numbers and the sum of x and y is 1 to 16. The wax contains≥50 wt.% of polyolefin wax. The wax is included by 0.1 to 5 wt.% in the polyester and dispersed with 3 to 30μm volume average dispersion diameter. The polyester has 130 to 160°C softening point. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
