<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise user's convenience in an image formation device using various sheets of paper. <P>SOLUTION: The control part of an image formation device acquires a print job (Sa1) and specifies the classification of papers used for image formation (Sa4). The control part specifies sheets of the paper held in each tray of the image formation device from a tray setting table and judges whether sheets of the paper of the classification used for image formation is held in either one of trays (Sa5). When the required paper is held in neither one of the trays, the control part specifies the tray whose use frequency of sheets of the paper held is minimum (Sa6) and judges whether the exchange of sheets of the paper of this tray is forbidden (Sa7). In addition, "Prohibition flag" is zero, that is, when the exchange of the papers is permitted, the control part specifies this tray as the target tray for the exchange (Sa8), and informs users of the result (Sa9). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
