PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage division circuit that is usable for even an input voltage of either positive or negative polarity, and has excellent transient response characteristic.SOLUTION: A voltage division circuit pertaining to the present invention includes a voltage divider circuit 10a for reference voltages having a reference resistive element 12, and a voltage divider circuit for voltage-divided output having a variable resistive element 14. Each variable resistive element 14 is provided with: variable resistive elements 15a, 15b connected in series, with polarities directed in reverse; a first diode 16a connected in parallel to a first variable resistive element, with polarities directed in reverse; and a second diode 16b connected in parallel to a second variable resistive element 15b, with polarities directed in reverse. The resistance value of the first variable resistive element 15a is controlled on the basis of a difference between a reference voltage Vand a voltage-divided output voltage V' extracted from a series connection point 13, and the resistance value of the second variable resistive element 15b is controlled on the basis of a difference between a reference voltage Vand a voltage-divided output voltage V' extracted from the series connection point 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
